How is my study rhythm this week?
You studied on 5 of the past 7 days and completed 184 reviews.
Ask ChatGPT about your Bunpro reviews, schedule, JLPT progress, and study habits. It can read your study data, but it can never change your account.
No extra account. Nothing saved. Nothing changed.

Connect Bunpro once, then ask about your studies in everyday language. ChatGPT works out which information it needs and explains the answer clearly.
See reviews due now, scan the current forecast, and decide when to make time for Bunpro.
Compare study days, review volume, new content and accuracy without manually reading charts.
Ask about JLPT progress, deck goals and account totals in plain language.
MCP is simply the connection that lets ChatGPT ask Bunpro for the study information needed to answer your question.
You set up the connection once in ChatGPT. After that, you can ask questions naturally—there is nothing new to install inside Bunpro.
This is a community-made connection, so it is not available in ChatGPT's official directory. Follow the steps below and enter the provided details yourself.
Open Bunpro → Settings → API and copy your Account API Token. Treat it like a password: do not paste it into a chat message, prompt, screenshot, URL, or support post.
Open ChatGPT Settings and turn on Developer mode. It is usually under Security and login, although its location may vary by app or workspace.
Go to the ChatGPT Plugins page, select the + button, then choose the option to create a custom MCP connection.
Open ChatGPT PluginsCopy the exact values shown in the form preview. Leave the Bearer token env var field empty.
Save the connection, start a new chat with Bunpro MCP enabled, and ask
Bunpro MCPRead-only Bunpro study activity, reviews, schedule, decks, progress, and trends.https://bunpro.yashkadam.com/mcpX-Bunpro-TokenBunpro MCP is available under the MIT license. You can inspect the implementation, run it locally over stdio, or deploy your own stateless Streamable HTTP server.
Clone the repository, build it with Node.js 20 or newer, and keep the Account API Token in your MCP client's secret environment configuration.
Use the included Dockerfile on Railway or another HTTPS host. Every caller supplies their own token; the deployment needs no database or shared Bunpro credential.
Read the source, privacy boundary, and operational limits before connecting an account or operating a public instance.
From today's workload to long-term JLPT progress, each tool answers a familiar study question without changing your Bunpro account.
Make sure ChatGPT can connect to your Bunpro account.
See what you studied on a particular day.
Look back across a week, month, or any period up to 93 days.
See what is due now and how busy the next few days look.
Check your active decks, daily goals, and progress.
Catch up on what you have reviewed recently.
See your overall progress from JLPT N5 through N1.
See how your reviews, new lessons, and accuracy change over time.
It cannot submit answers, start lessons, change your review level, edit decks, or update account settings.
Start with one of these after your connection test passes. Every card is copyable.
There is no extra account and your token or study history is not saved by this service. ChatGPT sends the protected token only when it asks Bunpro a question for you.
As with any hosted service, the service owner and hosting provider could technically see data while a request is being handled. If that trust boundary is not acceptable to you, run Bunpro MCP locally or deploy your own instance from the open-source repository.
This MCP is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bunpro or OpenAI, and it is not an official ChatGPT plugin listing.
This uses Bunpro's experimental Account API Token. Bunpro may change or limit what the connection can access.
Bunpro does not provide the same amount of history for every feature. When information is missing, the answer will say so instead of assuming you did nothing.
You can look back up to 93 days at a time. If Bunpro asks the service to slow down, it waits for you to try again rather than repeatedly sending requests.
Most problems are fixed by checking Developer mode, your Bunpro token, or the saved connection details.
Confirm Developer mode is enabled. Custom MCP creation can depend on your ChatGPT plan, app version, workspace policy, and administrator approval.
Check the header name is exactly X-Bunpro-Token. Paste the raw Account API Token as its protected value, leave the Bearer env-var field blank, and do not use both auth methods.
Confirm the Bunpro token is still current. Remove or disable stale Bunpro connections, recreate this one with the current URL and protected header, then test from a new chat.
Ask ChatGPT to show coverage. A missing source record means the source did not provide evidence for that date; it does not automatically prove zero activity.
Wait a little before trying again. Bunpro MCP will not keep retrying in the background.
Open the public health check. It confirms the hosted process is reachable, but it does not test or expose your Bunpro token.

No. It is an unofficial community MCP, is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bunpro or OpenAI, and is not published as an official ChatGPT plugin listing.
No supported deep link currently pre-populates the custom MCP creation form. The ChatGPT Plugins URL can take you to the area, but you must enter and review the connection values yourself.
No. All eight published tools are read only. The server does not start or submit reviews, change SRS state, add lessons, run crams, edit decks, or modify account settings.
No. This page is static and contains no token field. You paste the token only into your MCP client's protected credential configuration—not into this website or a chat message.
No. This service has no account or saved study-history database. It uses your token and Bunpro data only while answering the current request.
Yes. Bunpro MCP is open source under the MIT license. You can inspect, fork, and contribute to it on GitHub .
Yes. Run it locally over stdio or deploy the included Docker image as a stateless Streamable HTTP service. The self-hosting guide covers local, Docker, Railway, and other HTTPS hosts.
Not necessarily. Developer mode and custom MCP creation availability can depend on your plan, app version, workspace policy, and administrator. Other Streamable HTTP MCP clients may also connect.
Bunpro does not provide the same amount of history for every feature. The answer marks missing information clearly instead of pretending it means zero activity.
Rotate or replace the Account API Token in Bunpro, then update or recreate the protected credential in every MCP client where you configured it.
